Nikki Haws
@nikkihaws
I’m a data analyst transitioning from visual merchandising, turning complex data into actionable decisions.
What I'm looking for
I’m an analytical, detail-oriented professional transitioning from visual merchandising to data analysis. I bring a strong foundation in trend forecasting, performance measurement, and strategic decision-making, and I’m used to translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
In my merchandising role, I conducted A/B testing of displays and layouts to measure impact on sales and engagement metrics. I used inventory and sell-through reports to guide merchandising priorities and product rotation, and I communicated KPIs—like sales per square foot, average transaction value, and product sell-through rates—to leadership.
I’m strengthening my analytics toolkit through Data Analyst Career Training (including 320 hours and SQL coursework) and an Idaho State University Data Analyst Certificate. I’ve also built hands-on projects, including an Excel dashboard using 25,000+ rows and an interactive Power BI dashboard comparing Iris species, to turn raw data into meaningful decisions.
