At Novosoft LLC, I worked on HandyBackup, commercial backup software for Windows. I fixed issues in its legacy C++ codebase from customer support requests and shipped fixes in production releases.
I also worked on Google Drive and Yandex.Disk integrations, including vendor API access approval and implementation in the product. For a planned migration to .NET, I prototyped with Avalonia UI and gRPC services.
For HandyBackup, I developed a chat assistant for backup tasks controlled by text and voice. It used Whisper for speech-to-text and GPT tool calling mapped to HandyBackup server calls over CORBA via the EMF metamodel; I defended the work as my graduation thesis at the Higher College of Informatics, NSU.
I'm developing EmployMe, a job aggregator that normalizes vacancies from public job-board APIs and uses local embeddings to score CV-to-vacancy fit and deduplicate listings. It also includes an application tracker, reliability checks, automated tests, and deployment on Render and Neon.
