I am a qualified microfinance banker with over eighteen years of experience in financial services, currently serving as Head of Accounts and Finance. I am progressing toward chartered accountant status and am writing the professional level examination.
My roles have included compliance, budgeting, cost allocation, consolidation, monthly returns to regulatory authorities, preparation of performance ratios and periodic financial reports. I have led payroll processing, managed fixed asset registers, and overseen depreciation and amortization.
I have also served as Compliance Officer for eight years and Head of Operations for over three years, with a broad operational and regulatory experience across microfinance. I previously worked as an accountant and credit administrator, administering loans, following up on delinquencies, and ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliations.
I hold an MBA in Financial Management and a BSc in Accountancy, have professional microfinance certification (MCIB), and have attended value-chain and project documentation training domestically and abroad.
