At Acko General Insurance Company, I lead a team of 4 across reserving, reporting and data analytics. I’ve helped shift the team from manual data preparation to higher-value analysis through automation and process improvements.
I manage reserving across multiple general insurance lines and provide actuarial inputs for IFRS 17/Ind AS 117 financial statements. I also transitioned reserving from Excel to ResQ and automated IBNR allocation down to individual distribution partners.
At Magma HDI General Insurance Company, I estimated reserves, developed sourcing loss ratios using credibility theory and IIB data, and built a motor database in SAS Viya. My work has also included regulatory filings, solvency and asset-liability analysis, and support for pricing and capital framework requirements.
