I'm looking for a position where I can apply my GIS and remote sensing skills to projects with environmental, urban, or social impact.
Nicolás Suligoy
@nicosuligoy
GIS professor training in remote sensing and GEE. Open to remote geospatial roles.
What I'm looking for
I’m a university-level Geography professor based in Argentina, currently teaching Urban Geography and Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I also work at the secondary and tertiary levels, combining academic responsibilities with practical applications of GIS and remote sensing.
Over the past years, I have developed strong experience in GIS software, particularly QGIS, and am currently expanding my technical skills through training in remote sensing, using tools like ESA's SNAP. My work involves designing and guiding field research projects, advising students, and creating didactic materials that integrate spatial analysis and cartography.
I’m deeply interested in transitioning to roles within companies focused on geospatial technologies, urban analysis, environmental monitoring, and related fields. I’m looking for remote or hybrid opportunities where I can apply my analytical, technical, and teaching experience in collaborative and applied contexts.
I speak Spanish natively and have a strong command of English, which I use daily in academic and technical contexts. I’m also comfortable working in international teams and adapting to new tools and workflows
