@nickmiller
Backend engineer by day, mentor by heart.
What I'm looking for
I'm a dedicated backend engineer with a passion for creating scalable solutions. Currently, I am building a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AI chatbot that personalizes answers to facilitate student learning. My experience includes optimizing chatbot performance and mentoring students in system design, ensuring they can apply theoretical concepts to real-world engineering challenges.
Throughout my career, I've developed various microservices and ETL pipelines, leveraging technologies like Python, Node.js, and AWS. My role at Launch School has allowed me to guide senior students through their capstone projects, fostering their growth and understanding of complex engineering principles. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can share my knowledge and help others succeed.
