I'm a composer, educator, and audio engineer whose work spans concert music, electronic production, film scoring, and recorded sound. I teach composition and musicianship while helping students prepare for auditions, interviews, and professional music careers.
I've taught at the University of Akron, Indiana University, and the Cleveland Institute of Music, and I run a private remote studio serving students from ages 17 to 70. My teaching includes notation, instrumentation, engraving, digital audio workstations, music history, and repertoire.
Through TERRARUM audio, I provide recording, mixing, mastering, editing, and restoration. I also write program and liner notes and present pre-concert lectures for the Minnesota Orchestra, with additional writing for the Philadelphia Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra.
