What I'm looking for

I'm seeking opportunities where I can apply statistical modelling, financial analysis, risk assessment, and data-driven decision-making to public finance, economic planning, investments, or insurance work.

I'm supporting the County Government of Meru with its 2024/25 County Annual Progress Report, 2025/26 Annual Development Plan, 2025 Programme-Based Budget, and CIDP review.

I've also supported finance operations at the County Assembly of Meru, processing vouchers, validating invoices, maintaining vote books, and using the Integrated Financial Management System. Through Kenya Revenue Authority tax-awareness work, I helped Kenyans file returns, register and retrieve KRA PINs, and update account contacts.

I bring an Actuarial Science background and use Excel, R, SPSS, and Python to analyze data, model risk, forecast outcomes, and inform financial decisions. I also led Karatina University's Tax Club, contributing to its recognition as the Mt. Kenya Regional Tax Centre of Excellence, and received a research award for work on basis-risk reduction in small household crop index insurance.
