Ngozi U. I. Uche, BSc (Hons), FCA, CISA, CRISC, CSX-P, AWS Security-Specialty, is an accomplished Corporate Board Director and Executive Leader with over three decades of experience spanning public company governance, audit and risk oversight, financial stewardship, public sector accountability, and strategic leadership.
She served as a Non-Executive Director of C and I Leasing Plc, a publicly listed company, where she chaired the Board Risk Committee and served on the Audit Committee, providing oversight of enterprise risk management, financial reporting integrity, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Her Board contributions emphasized transparency, accountability, and disciplined risk governance.
Ngozi also held C-suite responsibility as Executive Director, Finance and Administration of the Anambra-Imo River Basin Development Authority, an Agency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation. In this role, she oversaw finance, administration, operations, strategy implementation, performance management, and governance in a highly regulated public sector environment, becoming a key steward of public funds and institutional accountability.
Her professional foundation was built at Akintola Williams Deloitte (Chartered Accountants), where she progressed to Senior Manager, leading high-profile audit and advisory engagements. She subsequently founded and led a consulting firm providing business advisory, governance support, and executive training services.
Ngozi brings deep expertise in audit, enterprise and technology risk, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and governance, complemented by modern competencies in cybersecurity and digital risk oversight. She holds multiple professional certifications, including FCA, CISA, CRISC, CSX-P, and AWS Security-Specialty.
She championed the formation of ISACA Port Harcourt Chapter and became the Charter President. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (M.CIoD), and a Member of AWS Cloud Security User Group - West Africa.
