Nethmi Shehara

At Avomarks Solutions Pvt Ltd, I developed NLP solutions for Sinhala low-resource language processing using SinBERT, including data annotation and NER model building. I also supported analytical reporting using Power BI.

My ongoing final-year research focuses on Sinhala hate speech detection in text and audio, alongside audio deep-fake analysis. I’m developing a multilingual multimodal detection system and YouTube browser extension using NLP, speech processing, and deep learning.

I developed an intelligent greenhouse monitoring platform that turns IoT sensor data into interactive visualizations and AI-assisted insights. My other projects include a retail BI reporting system using ETL, a star-schema warehouse, SSAS cubes, and Power BI dashboards, as well as a machine-learning loan default prediction system.
