What I'm looking for

I’m open to remote Engineering Lead and Engineering Manager roles in fintech.

At Standard Bank Group, I led a team of software engineers enhancing the Online Share Trading App for Android and iOS. I also implemented DevOps and DevSecOps practices and oversaw cloud infrastructure management.

Across financial software work at Moniepoint, Standard Bank, and Paradox, I’ve led engineering teams and built fintech systems under strict regulation. My work has included merchant onboarding, AML, and high-performance trading.

At Moniepoint, I cut onboarding drop-off by 40% and raised verifications by 35%. I also held 99.9% uptime through a fast bi-weekly release cycle and cut compliance review time by 60% with a new monitoring system.

Outside my day job, I co-founded Sensure, a telematics startup that won the Santam Innovation Challenge, and I build SwingTribe, a golf community platform serving ~6000 social golfers. Both keep me hands-on with new architectures and AI.
