Nehemiah Frazier
@nehemiahfrazier
I’m an entry-level cybersecurity analyst focused on SOC monitoring, malware analysis, and secure networks.
What I'm looking for
I’m a cybersecurity-focused professional who builds practical security skills through hands-on SOC work, vulnerability scanning, and incident documentation. I also have experience creating clear, interactive technical training for clinical and non-clinical end users, so I can translate complex topics into usable guidance.
At the University of Maryland Medical System, I developed online training modules with Adobe Captivate for EPIC EHR users. I collaborated with stakeholders, project managers, and subject matter experts to create and support project documentation and built self-paced lessons to support onboarding and existing clinical staff.
At OTM Cyber, I worked in a real-world Security Operations Center (SOC) environment to monitor and scan 9-1-1 operating systems for vulnerabilities. I responded to security threats using vulnerability scanning tools like Snort and Wireshark, and I documented event logs after detecting and mitigating threats.
My projects strengthen my technical depth across malware analysis and secure network design. I developed a variant of the Hidden Tear ransomware in VirtualBox to add AES encryption and file-hiding behavior, and I built an enterprise network architecture in Cisco Packet Tracer using VLAN segmentation, 802.1Q trunking, DMZ design, ACLs, and network troubleshooting to validate end-to-end communication.
