Neal Polallis

I’m an experienced digital artist focused on image creation, compositing, and visual evaluation. Over 10+ years, I’ve used GIMP and related tools to build layered artwork, apply compositing and color correction, and assess visual outputs against real-world workflows.

I bring a blend of creative production and high-stakes review discipline, with a strong eye for detail and a consistent ability to spot issues in clarity, accuracy, and consistency. I also provide written feedback and documentation that stays clear, structured, and guideline-driven.

In independent, fully remote work, I manage workflows end-to-end—adapting formats and resolutions for print and digital use while maintaining strong quality checks. I’m comfortable working independently with the expectation of reliable execution, especially when layered decisions and consistency matter.

Outside the art workflow, my 13 years as a Behavioral Health Technician strengthened my pattern recognition, real-time judgment under ambiguity, and careful documentation habits. I’ve also served as an adjunct instructor, communicating complex ideas clearly and evaluating work against criteria—skills I bring to how I review and explain visual outcomes.
