Naseer Shahzad

I am a senior mechanical technician with extensive hands-on experience in plant operation, maintenance, machining and fabrication. I have served as Senior Technician (Mechanical) at P.A.E.C. Islamabad since March 2017 and previously worked in major fertilizer plants in Karachi.

My background includes a Diploma of Associate Engineer (Mechanical) and a two-year apprenticeship at FFBL, where I developed practical expertise in conventional lathe operation, milling, shaping and fabrication of piping systems. I have operated and maintained overhead cranes, reduction gearboxes and mechanical lifting systems.

I have led and contributed to preventive and corrective maintenance work on displacement and centrifugal pumps, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, steam traps, valves and steam-turbine related components. I have experience with installation, overhauling and repair of mechanical systems and plant equipment.

I follow operational safety standards and have completed safety training aligned with QMS ISO-9001:2008 and OHSAS-18001:2007, including fire safety and emergency drills. I seek roles where I can apply practical mechanical skills to improve plant reliability and uptime.
