What I'm looking for

I seek a hands-on DBA role focused on Oracle 19c and cloud databases, with opportunities to improve backup/recovery, DR, automation, and to work in a collaborative, security-focused engineering team.

I am an Oracle Database Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in Core Oracle 19c DBA, currently contributing to a commercial and retail banking project. I have deep practical expertise in RMAN backup and recovery, Data Guard (Primary and Standby), RAC concepts, Oracle installations, patching, cloning, and database monitoring using OEM and cloud monitoring tools.

I have built and administered databases on both on-premises and AWS platforms, including EC2 and RDS provisioning, S3 data workflows, and CloudWatch monitoring. I consistently manage backups and recovery strategies, implement changes safely, and streamline database operations using tools such as Data Pump, Autosys, Git, Ansible, Docker, JIRA, and Power BI.
