Nana Asmau

I am a third-year Psychology and Counseling student at Ahmadu Bello University with completed professional training in cybersecurity. I combine academic grounding in human behavior with technical knowledge in digital security.

I have hands-on cybersecurity internship experience at Xam Hub Solutions where I assisted with threat monitoring, implementing security protocols, and secure data handling. I also hold supplementary certifications including a Professional Cybersecurity Certification and a Cisco certification.

Alongside technical work, I have over eight years of self-employed farming experience managing crop production and operations, which strengthened my problem-solving, resource management, and coordination skills. I have also worked remotely as a virtual assistant, providing administrative support, managing digital communications, and coordinating online projects.

I am passionate about applying technology, research, and data-driven solutions to support international NGOs and cybersecurity initiatives, and I seek roles that allow me to blend community-focused work with digital safety and impact-driven projects.
