What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a dedicated Data Scientist role where I can apply predictive analytics, machine learning, and financial-domain knowledge to automate complex decisions and deliver practical, data-driven solutions.

At Primedia Group, I've led the end-to-end implementation of Board Enterprise Planning, turning off-the-shelf consolidation software into a bespoke, auditable group tax reporting solution. I built custom tax schedules, automated data collection workflows, and connected complex financial data with regulatory reporting requirements.

Across more than 15 years in corporate tax, accounting, audit, and financial management, I've managed group tax compliance, reconciled complex datasets, resolved SARS disputes, and prepared reporting aligned to IFRS and South African tax law.

I'm applying my MSc in Data Science to predictive analytics and machine learning projects, from rugby performance modelling to fraud detection and RAG systems. I use Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, LlamaIndex, and vector databases to turn data into practical decisions.
