I am a data scientist focused on statistical analysis and machine learning, with hands-on experience building predictive and forecasting models using Python, SQL and Excel. I have applied techniques such as linear and logistic regression, ARIMA forecasting, decision trees, random forest, KNN, Naïve Bayes, ANN and XGBoost across BFSI, retail, manufacturing and healthcare domains.

I have practical experience in data cleaning and preprocessing with Pandas and NumPy, visualization with Matplotlib, Seaborn and Plotly, and automating Excel reporting via Python to reduce manual effort by over 90% while preserving accuracy. I have also implemented unsupervised methods including clustering, market-basket recommendation engines, and NLP topic modeling for complaint analysis.

I completed a Data Science course from Analytics Educator (2025) and a B.Com (Hons) from Calcutta University (2024). I regularly practice on Kaggle to refine model-building skills and enjoy applying analytics to real business problems like delinquency prediction, cross-sell, sales forecasting and predictive maintenance.
