At Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, I manage accounting, expenditure monitoring, and payment processing for departmental operations and government development schemes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
I prepare monthly bank and revenue reconciliations, financial statements, and budget execution reports. I also support budget execution by analyzing expenditure variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
I implement internal financial controls and address reconciliation differences and audit findings. I’ve also improved invoice verification, payment processing, and financial closing workflows.
Earlier, at The British School of Education, I managed accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger records, and prepared monthly financial statements. I’m a Certified Public Accountant from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Pakistan (ICPAP).
