Mrigank Shankar

I'm a Data Analyst based in Noida, India, with a rare mix of engineering and business training: a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA in Operations. That combination lets me work comfortably with both technical detail and business context.

Currently at Policybazaar, I analyze high-volume datasets, verify performance metrics, and run root cause analysis to remove operational discrepancies. I also review analytical models and workflows for accuracy, compliance, and sound business logic, and I turn complex numbers into clear recommendations for cross-functional teams.

Before that, as a Sales Manager, I handled pipeline analytics, market research, client requirement gathering, and process auditing, which taught me how data decisions play out with real customers.

My engineering background includes research with DRDO-DRDL on rocket nozzle propulsion efficiency, an internship at Hella Automotives analyzing product specifications for compliance and quality, and a comparative study of wind turbine designs. These projects built my habit of checking facts, testing logic, and spotting edge cases.

I'm now looking for remote work in data analysis and AI training and evaluation, where careful reasoning, factual accuracy review, and instruction-following assessment matter. I'm a clear written communicator, comfortable with technical documentation, and I work well independently.
