At SPEG (Pineapple Producers and Exporters of Ghana) LBG, I safeguard general ledger integrity and prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and year-end accounts. I also administer payroll and statutory obligations, including SSNIT contributions, VAT returns, and income tax filings.
I shortened the monthly reconciliation process from 15 days to 5 by instituting timely, accurate cashbook entries. I also served on the project team that transferred accounting operations from Microsoft Excel to Tally ERP, and produced reports and investment analyses for senior management.
