Mohamed Moawed

I’m a final-year industrial/production engineering student with a strong interest in Supply Chain Management and Data Analysis. I’m motivated to gain hands-on industrial experience and contribute to operational improvement through analytical thinking and continuous learning.

In my training at Digital Egypt Professionals Initiative (DEPI), I cleaned and analyzed datasets using Python (Pandas) and supported exploratory data analysis with structured workflows. I also wrote SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE) to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.

To turn analysis into action, I used Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas) for structured reporting and built interactive dashboards using Power BI to visualize KPIs and business insights. I applied basic statistical and analytical techniques to support data-driven decision making across business-relevant metrics.

I also bring a practical, improvement mindset through my educational initiative, where I studied Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma and taught engineering students process improvement concepts. Using Excel and Minitab, I applied Six Sigma tools such as Pareto Chart, Cause & Effect Diagram, and Control Charts to communicate how teams reduce waste and improve quality.
