At SPMB, I supervise and mentor billing teams and monitor A/R days, denial rates, and collection performance. I analyze denial trends and implement corrective workflows to reduce rework and improve first-pass acceptance.
Previously, I led billing operations teams at EMD and BELLMEDEX, supporting claim submission, payment posting, denial follow-up, and A/R recovery. At EMD, I also handled staff scheduling, task allocation, and new-hire training.
At MTBC, I entered claims, posted payments, followed up with payers on aged A/R, and managed client accounts. Across these roles, I’ve worked with 15+ billing and practice management systems and applied HIPAA, payer guidelines, and quality audits to billing operations.
