Milena Araqelyan

I’m a senior backend developer with ~6.5 years building high-load, microservice-based systems in PHP and Go. My background is strongly tied to fintech—payment microservices, third-party integrations, and crypto exchange platforms.

I focus on REST API design and on keeping data consistent under heavy traffic. I’ve built reliable integration layers with providers and engineered inter-service communication with transactional consistency in mind.

Technically, I’m strongest in deep SQL optimization (PostgreSQL / MySQL), including EXPLAIN analysis, tuning slow queries, and changing schemas of large tables without downtime. I also work with Elasticsearch for search/analytics, and RabbitMQ/Kafka plus Redis for caching, locks, and deferred processing.

I value product-focused engineering: clean architecture, code review, refactoring, and closing tech debt together with a distributed team. I enjoy shipping reliable platforms, running services in Docker/Kubernetes, and improving observability for smooth operations.
