Mikita Senko
@mikitasenko
I build resilient backend platforms, real-time systems, and cost-controlled AI features.
What I'm looking for
I build backend platforms for products where failures are immediately visible at scale. At Riverside, I built end-to-end real-time webinar analytics on ClickHouse, improved production observability, cleared 95% of standing Sentry errors, and built an MCP server for podcast creation through Claude Code.
At Playrix, I delivered backend systems for Township and Homescapes under multi-million-DAU load. I identified and fixed a DynamoDB hot partition in tournament leaderboards by sharding writes across eight buckets, stopping throttling without a migration.
At Moon Active, I owned platform microservices for API Gateway, LiveOps, promotions, reward distribution, and player segmentation. I built a WebSocket realtime gateway serving 1M DAU, shipped Daily Quests that added 18% ARPU, integrated Zen Match after acquisition, and helped teams launch services in a day rather than a week through templates and internal SDKs.
I work primarily in Node.js, TypeScript, Go, AWS, Kubernetes, DynamoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse. I also build agentic engineering systems: my Claude Code harness uses enforceable quality gates, run-cost measurement, and rules that are removed when they stop proving useful.

Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
- Real-time analytics for webinars: Built the real-time analytics behind a new webinars product end to end on ClickHouse — ingestion, query layer and the metrics the product team works from. Ran the design across the teams producing the events and the teams consuming them.
- ClickHouse migration: Contributed to moving product analytics off PostgreSQL onto ClickHouse. The primary database was per
- Hot partition on the tournament leaderboard: While extending the tournament system I found the leaderboard keyed on tournament id alone, which routed every score update from every player onto a single physical DynamoDB partition. The metrics confirmed it — a hot partition, with throttling alerts already firing. I sharded the partition key across eight buckets by user id. That trades one read for
- Platform ownership: Owned the core platform microservices the entire studio built on — API Gateway, LiveOps, Promotions and reward distribution — the machinery behind event scheduling, reward delivery and player segmentation for every game team in the portfolio.
- Realtime gateway at 1M DAU: Built the realtime gateway, the single WebSocket entry point between game clients and the backend, carr
- Core design editor: Built features for the online design editor at create.vista.com, a Canva-class product, and for the internal admin panel behind it
- Embedded design solutions for B2B: Shipped embedded editors for business clients — branded, pre-templated design windows tailored to their domain and dropped straight into their own products.
- High-load asynchronous backend: Extended the b
- Lead engineer on a healthcare product for IBM: Acted as the key engineer across every layer — backend on Node.js, web on React, a React Native mobile app, and deployment on IBM Cloud including its S3-compatible storage.
- External medical integrations: Integrated third-party medical-record systems, insurance platforms and diagnostic providers, building bi-directional data flow between the clie
