What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated chemist with a strong focus on medicinal chemistry and drug design, particularly for neglected tropical diseases. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in chemical sciences, culminating in a B.Sc. in Chemistry and an ongoing M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences with a specialization in Inorganic Chemistry from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. My thesis work involves the rational design, synthesis, and characterization of potential metallodrugs for Chagas’ Disease, showcasing my commitment to impactful research.
Throughout my academic career, I have contributed to several peer-reviewed publications, including studies on Cu(ii) complexes as anti-Trypanosoma cruzi agents and the development of luminescent sensing for pesticides. My experience as a Regulatory Assistant in a hospital pharmacy has further honed my skills in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and pharmacovigilance. I thrive in collaborative environments and am always eager to expand my knowledge and expertise in the field.
