At CeADAR, Ireland's National Centre for Applied AI, I build AI serving, monitoring, and data systems for Horizon Europe's O-CEI project across cloud, edge, and IoT infrastructure.
I've worked across the AI stack, from publishing research to shipping production systems and open-source tools. My research explores reward hacking, model predictive control, and how autonomous agents can remain aligned while improving performance.
I published DriftMoE at ECMLPKDD 2025, a Mixture-of-Experts architecture for handling concept drift in non-stationary data streams, with code and benchmarks open-sourced.
Previously, at Giyst, I owned the full ML stack for an AI-powered video summarization product, improving its core summarization model and building MLOps pipelines for CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring. I also developed plant-growth optimization models at Hortiya and write about AI in English and Portuguese.

As an AI Engineer, I played a important role in the Giyst project, overseeing the full spectrum of model development, from enhancing the AI model's performance to optimizing video processing capabilities. I also led the charge in modernizing the MLOps side of the product.
