What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a pediatric role where I can lead evidence-based triage and strengthen transitions of care—partnering with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate follow-up, address barriers, and support safe, education-focused discharges for children.

I’m a Pediatric Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner student with 4 years of clinical experience across emergency medicine, outpatient pediatrics, and care for medically complex children in structured settings. I bring a strong foundation in clinical documentation, chart review, care coordination, and transitions of care—using clinical judgment to support evidence-based decision-making and appropriate utilization of services.

In my current Pediatric Emergency Department role, I triage using ESI to assess acuity, manage high-acuity pediatric emergencies, and provide discharge education that supports safe follow-up care. I also coordinate durable medical equipment (DME), identify barriers to care (including access issues and caregiver understanding gaps), and escalate concerns when needed to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered outcomes. Previously, in PPEC and outpatient pediatrics, I provided specialized skilled nursing care (including tracheostomy care, G-tube feedings, and oxygen therapy), reinforced provider-directed treatment plans, coordinated specialty follow-ups, and collaborated closely with interdisciplinary pediatric teams.
