Michael Uzoma

I am a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX designer and software engineer with 3+ years of experience building websites and user interfaces for clients and companies. I trained in software engineering and UI/UX at Unique Computer Institute, completing intensive, practical coursework that prepared me for professional design and development work.

I led design projects for GS Biomedical-Engineering Company, including the company website and a logistics site, improving the UI and boosting the logistics site's traffic to about 100 visitors daily. I also designed and built an e-commerce site specializing in high-quality kids' wear, and created compelling mockups and mobile app designs for clients.

My strengths include wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, design systems, and accessibility, using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Canva. I collaborate with developers to implement responsive designs and ensure that designs translate effectively into working products.

I am goal-oriented, service-focused, and an energetic self-starter who works well independently or in teams, with strong communication and customer-service skills. My objective is to establish myself further as a software engineer and provide high-quality website, mobile app design, and software consulting services.
