Michael Kwesi Tettechu

I am an Industrial Automation Engineer with over seven years of hands-on experience across manufacturing and industrial environments in Ghana, Saudi Arabia, and Portugal. My work centres on keeping automated systems running safely and efficiently—from commissioning new equipment and writing PLC logic through to diagnosing faults and leading maintenance teams. I take pride in being someone colleagues can rely on when a production line goes down, responding quickly and staying calm to deliver a lasting fix.

Based in Portugal, I’m seeking a permanent role where I can bring my automation and electrical expertise to a forward-thinking industrial operation. Most recently, I provide on-site automation and electrical support as a self-employed technician, handling PLC programme updates, system upgrades, preventive maintenance, and commissioning. Previously, I supported commissioning and reliability work in fish-processing, and I later supervised electrical technicians at a metal packaging manufacturing plant—planning maintenance schedules, investigating root causes, and driving measurable reductions in unplanned downtime.
