Supported engineering requirements definition, layout, and production drawing definition/documentation for the Air Force VC-25B and B52-CERP programs. Used CATIA V5 with IVT and CMPRO to meet project release commitments.

Extracted composite ply/core manufacturing data using CATIA 3DX for the FARA Helicopter program. Supported composite manufacturing data preparation to support production workflows.

Provided sustaining support on the A350 program by evaluating and documenting engineering changes. Used CATIA V5, FIBERSIM, and CPD for composites design, including Overcore/Backskin construction and laminates with V5/CPD MBD releases, and performed trade studies.

Worked on the Star Tracker Module of the James Webb Telescope spacecraft. Designed the spacecraft structure/components using CATIA V5 and supported CDA/CDR activities and spacecraft test/integration efforts.

Designed keel structure for Boeing’s 787-9 program while working directly for Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Created and manipulated ICM/RLM/CARM/IRM model types and generated layouts/drawings using CATIA V5 and ENOVIA following Boeing MBD standards.

Designed structural components for the new Lear 85 Aft Fuselage using CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and Fibersim. Produced 2D drawings and supported composite primary/secondary structure and associated aluminum/ sheet-metal components.

Designed a composite raked wing tip for the Navy’s P-8 (MMA) aircraft using CATIA V4 and CATIA V5. Coordinated with foreign vendors on carbon/epoxy laminate deliverables for spars, ribs, doors, and related parts.

Designed leading edge parts on the STOVL F-35 aircraft using CATIA V4. Created ply lay-up information using Fibresim and used Metaphase/PDM to store/retrieve database information for detail/assembly and installation drawings.

Supported laser systems design on the THEL/MTHEL program using CATIA V4 and CATIA V5. Performed requirements definition, layout/detail design, fab support and test, and preliminary stress analysis, including optics (ODS) support for the ABL program.

Performed tooling design for Boeing’s 747 program using CATIA V4. Designed FAJ/OHME and other tooling required for the AFA (accurate fuselage assembly) 747 super panels program.

Implemented drawing revisions for the C-17 wing and mission systems/payload group using Unigraphics and conventional board drawings. Held the role across multiple periods between 1993 and 1997.

Produced structural integration interface control drawings for the Global Express aircraft program using CATIA. Monitored proposed structural interfaces for acceptability and coordinated with Canadair, Shorts (Ireland), De Havilland, and Mitsubishi.

Designed primary structures for the V-22 tilt rotor torque box using CATIA and CADAM. Conducted design and preliminary analysis of carbon/epoxy primary structures and aluminum precision forgings and titanium castings, including cost-effective production trades.

Used CATIA for layout and detail design of structure for the Boeing 777 airliner. Designed carbon/epoxy, fiberglass and core panels plus sheet metal, machined and extruded parts, and supported stress analysis and part sizing using hand calculations and Boeing proprietary software.

Served as project engineer for the mechanical test and tooling portions of the Space Station Mobile Transporter program. Managed requirements definition for tests/fixtures and handled planning, scheduling, design, and stress.

Designed military products components for the Hughes Space and Communications Group’s MMB3 program using CADAM. Designed spacecraft thermal blankets and performed analysis related to grounding and venting.

Performed structural design for the NAVY A12 Advanced Tactical Aircraft using CADD. Prepared layout, detail, and assembly drawings for structural components including carbon/epoxy structure and sheet metal and machined parts.

Provided ground support design engineering work for TRW during the noted period.

Worked as a Ground Support Design Engineer for Hughes Aircraft during the noted period.

Performed structural design engineering work for F/A18 aircraft while employed by Northrop Aircraft during the noted period.
