Michael Ingram
@michaelingram1
Structures and payload design engineer focused on composite aircraft systems.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Structures and Payload Design Engineer with decades of experience designing aerospace structures, composite components, and mission hardware—moving from tool and ground support work to sustainment and requirements definition. I’ve built release-ready documentation and performed trade studies, GD&T/tolerance work, and structural support across major commercial and defense programs.
In recent roles, I’ve driven engineering requirements definition/layout and production drawing documentation for Air Force VC-25B and B52 programs, leveraging CATIA V5 workflows (including IVT) and CMPRO to meet release commitments. Earlier, I supported composite design and manufacturing data extraction using CATIA V4/V5 and Fibersim/CPD/related tools, and I’ve contributed to spacecraft structural design, release mechanisms, and thermal protection systems as well.
