At Leaf Quality Systems (Pty) Ltd, I perform independent technical reviews of audit and assurance engagements against ISAs, IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, and regulatory requirements. I identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions, while providing technical guidance on complex accounting and reporting matters.
At Auditor General South Africa, I served as Technical Manager and coordinated audit quality management, technical support, and the consolidation of business unit information for general reporting. I also performed internal quality and peer reviews and developed and delivered practical technical training.
Earlier at Auditor General South Africa, I managed audit engagements from planning through issuance of financial statements as an Assistant Audit Manager, after starting there as a Trainee Accountant. I’m a Chartered Accountant (SA) with experience in external auditing, audit quality management, and technical advisory work across public and private sectors.
