What I'm looking for

I’m looking for permanent, contract, freelance, and remote/hybrid/on-site external audit engagements where I can lead complex ISA/IFRS/GRAP audits, supervise teams, and deliver trusted reporting for executive stakeholders.

I’m a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with over six years of external audit experience across South Africa and the United Kingdom, gained with Deloitte South Africa, the Auditor-General South Africa, and Ensors (part of Azets).

I lead end-to-end external audit engagements, including financial statements, group, compliance and performance audits for both public and private sector organisations. I’m trusted to manage complex engagements, supervise audit teams, and build strong relationships with executive stakeholders.

My technical strength is anchored in ISA, IFRS, GRAP and FRS 102, supported by deep knowledge of PFMA and MFMA. I’ve applied this across audit planning, risk assessment, internal controls evaluation, fraud indicators, and reporting—using professional judgement to determine what matters for management reporting.

In my recent role as Assistant Audit Manager at Ensors (part of Azets), I led a high-risk inventory audit valued at £7 million across Europe, the USA and South Africa, and contributed to improving the firm’s audit methodology for key areas like inventory, debtors and creditors testing. Before that, at the Auditor-General of South Africa, I earned “Higher Achiever” recognition and identified a potential material irregularity of approximately £43 million—while delivering complex multi-disciplinary work within statutory reporting deadlines.
