At STEINMÜLLER AFRICA | BILFINGER GROUP SE, I serve as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, with responsibility for Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance and SHEQ. I’ve strengthened governance, risk management and compliance, and improved working capital through enhanced project controls and debtor management.
At ASCENDIS PHARMA, I delivered a R100 million EBITDA turnaround within three years, creating approximately R500 million in shareholder value. I also recovered R109 million in Government receivables and developed a five-year forecasting tool to measure profitability by product.
At STUTTAFORDS INTERNATIONAL FASHION COMPANY, I led restructuring initiatives that improved operating profit margins from below 2% to 14%. I also generated R48 million in cash recoveries through store footprint optimisation and lease negotiations, and played a key leadership role in the Management Buyout from Pepkor.
Across multinational Engineering, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Retail organisations, I’ve partnered with Boards, CEOs and shareholders on strategic finance, governance, transformation and value creation. I’m a Chartered Accountant (SA) and have held executive finance and commercial roles at REGUS/IWG PLC, AUTOZONE HOLDINGS and WASTEMAN HOLDINGS.
