At Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, I conduct quality analysis and root cause investigations to protect product integrity in a manufacturing environment. I collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production quality and continuous improvement.
Previously, I examined biomedical engineering patent applications at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, covering wearable sensors, biosignal monitoring, diagnostic equipment, and AI-enabled medical devices. I performed prior-art searches, evaluated patentability under U.S. patent law, and documented legal and technical reasoning in Office actions.
My research at Virginia Commonwealth University combined neuroscience, EEG signal processing, and immersive virtual reality environments. Using MATLAB, I acquired, preprocessed, and analyzed EEG data to characterize cognitive and affective states, and published peer-reviewed research on affective-state estimation in VR.
I bring a bioengineering and biomedical engineering foundation alongside laboratory quality-control experience, including SOP development, regulatory standards, microbiology, and EHS practices.
