What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a cybersecurity role where I can lead practical security and compliance initiatives, mentor teams, and balance risk management with business goals in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

I'm an IT security professional with over 8 years' experience protecting organisations from cyber threats, blending technical expertise with practical problem-solving to deliver usable security solutions rather than checkbox compliance.

I've implemented and worked extensively with ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT and PCI-DSS frameworks, led vulnerability assessment and risk-management programmes, and set up proactive monitoring to detect and respond to threats early.

In operations and technical support roles I have driven compliance above 95%, led an organisation to 100% compliance with new regulatory requirements, and reduced help-desk demand through hands-on user training and pragmatic change management.

I'm certified in ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity and CompTIA Security+, and I'm currently pursuing CISSP and CISM to deepen my governance and management capabilities; I focus on building security cultures that balance protection with business needs.
