Marvin Mathieu

I’m a U.S. born technical project manager with 7 years of hands-on IT experience spanning cloud operations, hyperconverged infrastructure, DevOps automation, and project delivery in federal and enterprise environments. I’m comfortable owning programs end-to-end—from scoping requirements and building schedules to getting final stakeholder sign-off.

Most recently, I managed a multi-site hardware modernization program fully remote from the U.S. West Coast. I coordinated field teams across 12 European installations asynchronously, using structured handoffs and clear written documentation to keep every site on schedule.

Before that, I supported cloud and virtualization operations at the Institute for Defense Analyses, where I deployed and configured a 70-node AWS VPC, maintained two Nutanix AHV hyperconverged clusters (350+ VMs with Nvidia A100 GPUs), and administered enterprise VMware vSphere across multiple data center facilities. I also managed 1-petabyte storage and drove security hardening aligned to NIST and CIS benchmarks.

I bring a strong infrastructure depth that lets me have credible technical conversations with engineering teams while keeping the program on track. I’m also hands-on with automation—PowerShell, Bash scripting, Terraform, Puppet, and GitLab CI/CD—so delivery improves, not just documentation, and risk is managed proactively through go/no-go decision frameworks.
