I’m a competence assessor and LNG production operations advisor with 31 years in the Oil and Gas industry, including a decade focused on training, assessment, and internal Quality Assurance within LNG facilities. I specialize in LNG production, ship loading, and process plant commissioning and start-up.
I’ve led as a Lead Assessor and Internal Verifier, evaluating technicians’ performance and knowledge to ensure alignment with Competence Assurance Standards and oversight of assessors’ adherence to those standards. I also play a key role in managing the day-to-day Competence Assurance system at Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad and Tobago.
My approach blends system implementation with practical operations knowledge—developing, consulting, and training personnel on policies and procedures for competence systems. I bring hands-on emergency drill planning and execution experience, with 5 years supporting the Production Operations Department through Major Emergency Management competencies.
Earlier in my career, I advanced through Operations Technician roles and also worked as a Process Operator and Refinery Operator across methanol and refinery operations, supporting commissioning, startups, vessel loading, and turnaround planning.
