Mario Navas

I’m a recording, mixing, and post-production engineer specializing in music and audiovisual production. I bring hands-on experience with audio software such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic, and I also work as a Spanish voice actor for dubbing and audiovisual materials.

At Backstage Studios in Caracas, I coordinate and strengthen the Engineering department. As Engineering Department Supervisor, I coordinate the organization of the Engineering department, make decisions about studio production, evaluate staff performance, and unify criteria between departments for a quality product.

As an Audio Engineer (Senior), I focus on recording in the audiovisual and dubbing field, mixing for audiovisual, musical, and dubbing projects, and audio editing. I also work as an editor de Foley, Music and FX, with over 500 hours of experience in mixing audiovisual material, audio editing, and post-production.

I’ve complemented my studio work with teaching, including guitar and piano instruction for children. My training includes a Bachelor of Music Production from University of the Arts and a Seminar on Fundamentals and Sound Design, and I’m committed to quality through attention to detail, time management, teamwork, and clear communication.
