Marc Karakus

I've designed yacht systems and developed CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation for Southern Wind Shipyards and Barracuda Yacht Design.

At Barracuda Yacht Design, I supported 3D CAD model development, structural, stability, and propulsion calculations, plus systems design, engine installations, and deck equipment. I coordinated technical disciplines throughout project development to help turn concepts into manufacturable solutions.

At Southern Wind Shipyards, I improved system design solutions, modelled components and assemblies in 3D, and prepared 2D manufacturing documentation. I also worked with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

I'm driven by curiosity, continuous learning, and a practical approach to solving engineering challenges and improving designs.
