I’m a software engineer and technical leader with 20+ years of experience building high-volume, security-constrained, high-availability systems. I’ve designed and led architectures processing 20+ million transactions/day, improving reliability by reducing outages by 95%.

In my recent work at Payara Services, I led a multi-cloud enablement initiative for Payara Qube, extending Kubernetes-based PaaS from Azure-only to seamless Azure + AWS deployments. I designed and built a Monitoring API for Payara Cloud, and migrated observability from Telegraf/PostgreSQL and AWS CloudWatch to managed Prometheus (AWS Managed Prometheus and Azure Monitor).

I also automated multi-region infrastructure with Pulumi and Amazon EKS provisioning, delivering repeatable deployments across AWS and Azure. To support scale and cost visibility, I implemented Prometheus-based usage pipelines for billing and maintained CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Docker image publishing, Helm deployments, and Pulumi stack updates.

Earlier, I led teams and architecture at Retarus and Natixis, and at Secretaria da Fazenda do Ceará I managed 7 teams (30 developers) supporting 26 applications/services—achieving 99.6% availability and doubling ingested data volume over a 10-year period. Former professor (Data Structures, Database Design, Web Development, and OO Design), I lead with mentoring, cross-team coordination, and a quality-first mindset.
