I’ve planned and carried out migrations from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, and Azure VMs, with cutover and rollback plans. I also reduced Azure database costs by right-sizing elastic pools and service tiers.
I improve workload performance by tuning T-SQL, stored procedures, and indexes, and support high availability with Always On Availability Groups, clustering, and Azure geo-replication.
I’ve set backup and recovery standards, automated maintenance with PowerShell and Azure Automation runbooks, and provided third-line support. I also mentor junior DBAs and write runbooks and standards for support teams.
