At HCL Technologies, I lead SQL Server database administration and production support across enterprise environments. I support SQL Server versions from 2008 through 2022, including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response.
I investigate blocking, deadlocks, long-running queries, and performance issues using DMVs, Query Store, execution plans, and wait statistics. I also manage backup and recovery, database security, and access provisioning.
I develop and enhance PowerShell and SQL automation for centralized monitoring, health checks, uptime reporting, and capacity reporting. I support SQL Server upgrades and migration initiatives, as well as Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure IaaS/PaaS environments.
As a SQL DBA Team Lead, I provide technical guidance and mentoring, coordinate DBA activities, and communicate with clients and stakeholders. I also support root-cause analysis, problem management, and preventive actions for recurring production issues.
