At Lumen Technologies, I modified COBOL, IMS Db2, and PL/SQL code and tested changes for the brightspeed exit and brim inbound projects. I also participated in a mainframe modernization initiative assessing COBOL applications for migration to the Raincode platform.
In that role, I worked on components being prepared to move to the cloud and on removing components that were no longer required. I resolved production job abends and investigated recurring incidents through root cause analysis.
At Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt.ltd, I worked on the Payeezy migration and network token project, adding an FSC code and fields to a copybook as required. I modified COBOL and Db2 code, tested changes, and deployed them to production.
At Atos | Syntel, I modified COBOL, IMS, and Db2 code for American Express and supported testing, production deployments, incident analysis, and job-abend resolution. My mainframe experience spans telecom, insurance, and banking, with work in batch processing and CICS.
