What I'm looking for

I want to build trustworthy API test automation in regulated healthcare settings—using Dockerized environments, Azure DevOps pipelines, and deep tracing so both testers and developers can verify changes with confidence.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer in Test focused on end-to-end API and automation quality, especially in regulated environments. At Medtronic, I’ve helped deliver a standardized FHIR API layer that exposes platform data to approved external partners.

I build and maintain 100+ automated tests for new API endpoints, validating field-level data mapping, omitted-field handling, and authentication/error behaviors against written specifications. I trace responses through underlying services and stored procedures to pinpoint where discrepancies originate, so fixes land in the right layer.

I designed a Dockerized test environment that runs the API under test with its dependent services and databases (SQL Server and MySQL) as a self-contained stack, eliminating reliance on shared system-test databases. I then integrated it into a nightly Azure DevOps pipeline using the same task-runner command developers use locally, so teams can verify locally and consistently.

I also develop component tests that exercise real internal logic end-to-end while mocking only external dependencies, and I contribute to a shared cross-team system-test suite (Reqnroll/SpecFlow, C#). In parallel, I review developer pull requests and use AI-assisted tooling to close coverage gaps by adding missing unit tests before merge.
