Maddox Mear

I'm pursuing a Business Honors Associate of Arts in Finance at Lone Star College, where I've maintained a 3.9 GPA and applied economic research to real consumer and market questions.

I analyzed post-pandemic U.S. pharmacy spending and U.S. egg price volatility using regression analysis in Excel and FRED data. My pharmacy-spending research earned the John Britt Poster Award after I presented it to more than 100 faculty and judges at the Great Plains Honors Conference.

Through a job shadow at SCF Partners, I observed associates and partners as they used performance metrics in strategic decision-making and supported accountability for $10M+ portfolio company evaluations.

I've also led delegates for Lone Star's National Model United Nations team, co-authoring resolutions that earned Best Delegation, Position Paper, and Outstanding Delegate awards. As an Honors College Leadership Program Coordinator, I coordinate cross-campus initiatives, events, and social programs that strengthen student engagement.
