At Banco de Bogotá’s Testing COE, I design web and mobile automation frameworks in Java with Serenity BDD, Selenium, and Appium. I also introduced Playwright as a complement to Selenium and delivered reusable templates that other COE teams have adapted.
I automated regression flows for Mantiz, a legacy loan-management platform that had never been automated. Mortgage loan flows dropped from about two hours to 30 minutes compared with manual execution, while personal loan and Crediservice flows went from 40 to 12 minutes.
For the bank’s digital products, I automate mobile and web flows, test APIs with Rest Assured, and use Gatling to check service behavior under load. I also maintain GitHub Actions workflows that run test suites and publish reports to AWS S3.
I contributed to an internal reporting tool for cross-cutting APIs, working on backend logic with Spring Boot and on the frontend with React and TypeScript. I use Kiro to speed up test automation while auditing generated code, and I help train interns, junior testers, and teammates starting with automation or AI agents.
