What I'm looking for

I'm looking to develop practical research experience in cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging, applying Python and data analysis to better understand human cognition and behaviour alongside my postgraduate study.

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Cognitive Neuroimaging and Data Science at the University of Birmingham, building practical and theoretical understanding of computational methods for neuroscience research.

At Sparko Quality Consulting, I supported data analysis by cleaning datasets, identifying patterns and inconsistencies, and communicating evidence-based findings clearly. I've also developed Python skills for data manipulation, analysis and visualisation.

My BSc dissertation explored how university resources shape ethnic minority students' academic engagement and identity development. I designed and conducted the qualitative study, collected primary data, used thematic analysis, and critically evaluated its methodology and limitations.

Alongside research, I support learners as an SEN Teaching Assistant at Colmore Education and lead activities as a Beaver Scout Section Head. These roles have strengthened my communication, organisation, ethical awareness, teamwork and ability to adapt support to individual needs.
