Lisa Akinyi

I’m a motivated technologist transitioning into software development, with hands-on experience building full-stack blockchain applications as part of a 4-person engineering team. In my recent work, I contributed to backend services and data flows with Python and Django, and I helped deliver end-to-end features by building user-facing components in React.

I bring a strong security foundation from the Google Cybersecurity Certificate and Certified Ethical Hacker training, plus practical exposure to network security and vulnerability assessment. I’m especially interested in backend development, API design, and secure software engineering, and I’m currently building Java and Spring Boot proficiency through self-directed study.

I’ve reinforced my backend and secure-design mindset through projects like HushRenewal on the Canton Network (Daml/Canton contract privacy, atomic settlement, and live devnet deployment) and a Solana NFT Marketplace dApp (Rust/Anchor with a React/TypeScript frontend, devnet testing, and wallet integration). I value clear technical reporting, collaborative agile work, and rapid learning of new frameworks to ship reliable systems.
