I am a recently graduated master student at Rice University, majoring in Data Science (machine learning track) from the Computer Science Department. Prior to that, I received my bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Information Systems from Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), China.
Over the study of six years, I have attained solid background knowledge about data structure and algorithms, experiences of working with data modeling and coding with a variety of programming languages. I have used Python, Java, SQL before, to solve real-world problems and build projects, from deep learning models, data crawlers, to web applications. I am a motivated, teamwork-oriented, and adaptive individual who enjoy taking up the challenges and learning new things.

• Developed an automated data ETL pipeline using Python to analyze census data for major cities in China, resulting in increased efficiency and accuracy.
• Conducted machine learning and system dynamic models to analyze streaming data, implemented and deployed these models on the server, and provided visualization for the analyzing result in a 24-hour window using Matplotlib and Plotly in Python.
